These contractors have been incredible to work with! They came out and looked at the scope of the project when they said they would and then got us a quote when they said they would as well. More than a couple of contractors we called failed on one or the other. The quote they provided was very reasonable though it did have to be adjusted a little bit when we realized there was a miscommunication. They thought the picture I had of a planter with a floating bench was footings with a sidewalk around a raised flower bed. The adjustment was still not very much considering all the extra rebar and wood that had to go into making it a floating bench. Neat Concrete showed up early several mornings and stayed late several evenings to make sure everything got done in a timely manner. They were always willing to answer our questions and let us watch and learn while they were working. Whenever a decision or clarification had to be made, they came and asked us instead of deciding for us. They provided experienced guidance and explained why they were doing things the way they were when we asked. We were originally guessing that a bench should be ~2' off the ground and thankfully they caught that and suggested 18" instead which is the perfect height for a seat. Despite never having done a floating bench nor conduit and outlet boxes, they worked with us to make sure everything would be stable and would look the way we wanted when it was finished. The concrete should last quite a while as they poured oversized footings, extra interior walls, and used oodles of rebar throughout. We had them extend our porch by about 2' and add 2x 3' stairs, pour a 10'x10' planter with floating bench, and pour a 3'x20' planter attached to the house. This all took them about 2 weeks with between 2 and 4 guys working each day.
