Taylor did amazing work. He actually cared about the project and took the time to understand the aesthetic and history of the home and his work reflected that. We have a home from the 60s and we cared about restoring and retaining the original character. The match that Taylor made us was imperceptible to the original details of the homes floor boards. Would highly recommend.

Details: Baseboards • Drywall • No, I will need the carpenter to provide the molding or trim • This is just an installation job - no design needed • Solid wood • 41 - 80 ft • I would like it painted

Taylor helped us finish our basement in February 2023. We were impressed with the professionalism and integrity of his business. We had some issues along the way. Here is our honest review, after much time and consideration. Pros: -He was communicative and listened well to our feedback. -He was personable and mature, and we felt we could trust him to be respectful of and care for our home. -He worked hard to stay within our budget. When unexpected plumbing needs came up, he got the plumber there quickly to address them. -He worked overtime multiple days in a row before heading on vacation to ensure he stayed within our time frame. -He made sacrifices to get to our house on snowy days to fix issues even when it was far from where he was working. -He helped us find the best place to get reasonable, good quality carpet. -He came back after the job was done to take care of a few outstanding issues, displaying integrity. Cons*: *Important note: We had a basement flood in the spring. It affected the bottom inch of drywall and the baseboards, but was promptly mitigated. We have had other professionals assess the basement since. -Sub-contractors, particularly Drywall Techs, were difficult to work with. Vaping in our open windows, showing up on days they agreed not to rather than on scheduled days, poor workmanship. We had drywall crumbling off the ceiling before the flood and now have drywall screws falling out in locations that professionals have deemed unaffected by flood damage/shifting. After our experience, we don’t think Taylor works with Drywall Techs anymore. -On days that Taylor had to put in a lot of hours (before going on a vacation, for example), some of the workmanship became sloppy- skipped areas of caulking, poor fixes in cabinets. He did come out after the fact to fix most of the issues. -Our basement doors don’t close. Taylor did come out a month or so after to fix them by sanding, but shortly afterward they stopped closing again. The top of the doors bump into the top of the door frames. We gave them 6 months to settle, thinking it was just our house settling. We also had multiple contractors and a structural engineer assess them before and after that 6 months. They informed us that the door issues were a function of improper installation and not of settling or flood damage. After our investigation of the cause of the door issues, we called Taylor for a month to get his perspective and see if we could work out the issues. He finally responded with rudeness. Our relationship did not end well, but we hope we have given a fair picture of the good that he did do for us along the way.

Details: A full day (Complex or long-term projects) • Installation • Assembly • Basement • Appliances • Flooring • Windows • Doors • Walls (inside) • Molding or baseboards • Plumbing • Home

Taylor was a pleasure to work with. He squeezed us in his schedule on short notice, and we desperately needed that! He did a great job on the baseboards, and was completely understanding about things. We would love to do business with him in the future, and would highly recommend him to anyone!

Taylor was amazing, we had him build a backing for my 8 foot seating chart and he had it built in a matter of hours. On top of that he was willing to take it to my venue and place it where it needed to go, he went the extra mile and was AMAZING!!! HIGHLY recommend!

Details: Already have plans - just need installation • As recommended by carpenter
