I specialize in wedding and formal event makeup, makeup for photography, as well as video/film. My career in makeup began with several classes, learning the fundamentals of makeup. After completing 3 makeup courses I worked as a teacher's assistant for the beginning makeup class. I also spent a year at the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics in South Jordan where I became a licensed Master Esthetician. I spent 3 and a half years working as an artist for MAC Cosmetics. During my time there I became certified in Advanced 1 Makeup Application, as well as Basic Application, and as a Product Specialist. Over the years I have been able to work on many weddings, photoshoots, and formal events in Utah. In addition to local jobs I have been able to travel to Los Angeles, San Fransisco, New York, Boston, Orlando and even to Toronto to do makeup. I have been hired by several companies for promotional photoshoots, including Borboleta Beauty, Uptown Cheapskate, and Morton and Mabel. I have worked on several video and film projects, including work for Hallmark, Youtube Red, Blue Diamond, and Harmons, as well as training videos for Borboleta Beauty. I have had a blast working on several independent local short films as well. In my makeup education I was taught how to do special effects makeup for film. I love getting to do gore and wound effects!
