- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most tutors charge $25/hour for 1:1 tutoring and there are never any required tutoring packages nor upfront costs. Clients pay on a per-session basis and we have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, or you get your money back. (Online sessions and in-person sessions are the same price.)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Speak over the phone to learn more about your student to make a recommendation. 2. Connect you directly with the tutor so you can talk with him/her. 3. Book a session through the Tutorfly site and enjoy! :) We personally recommend an academic tutor that doubles as a role model for your student.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Tutorfly Tutors are in the top 10% of their classes in high schools and universities like Stanford, UC Berkeley, Princeton, and NYU. They have ample experience working with students of all ages and have progressed through a 4 step vetting process that tests for knowledge, creativity, and empathy.
