The pandemic has been extremely challenging for personal trainers and the way this software is set up, we are charged a huge sum of cash the moment you ask for our availability. I lose hundreds of dollars a month to people contacting me and never even responding to my initial message.

My name is Andy and I own and operate my own small private gym here in Salt Lake City which is thoroughly cleaned between sessions and only open to my personal clients. I've been a personal trainer for almost 7 years now and I loved it enough to forgo medical school after receiving at degree from Johns Hopkins University. I realized I had so much more potential to help others with exercise, nutrition, and mindfulness.
I'm not like the typical personal trainer that encourages you to starve yourself, push yourself until you can't move, or forgo the most important aspect of training: safety - both of mind and body. Luckily, the data supports practices that don't require you to kill yourself to achieve what you want from training and I'm here to present the data to you and teach you how to optimize your health.
Additionally, as a Neuroscience major I understand that half the battle of exercise and nutrition is fought in the mind. Whether its your habits, anxiety, fear of the gym, or just the cyclical patterns that are a feature of regular dieting and exercise programs, ( e.g. you feel great and motivated initially and eventually old habits creep back in or a moment of 'weakness' derails your goals and you start all over again ) I'm here to show you the data on how to change.
Lastly, I'm not in the business of keeping secrets from clients so that they're dependent on me. My goal for every single person that walks through the door is to learn as much as they can to feel comfortable to go off on their own, although I love to keep in touch and hear about your life.
