Nobody here is going to be eating cow liver for every meal while undergoing hypoxic sleep training in an underwater red light chamber. Are you ready to make consistent small changes over time to see results for the benefit of your long term health? Alrighty then! Let's do this! I have found that the people I fit best with are the ones who are more accepting of the process of improving health - rather than looking for the most intense, quick fix. We take a simple approach. 1. Find something you enjoy doing that is reasonably active. Hold you accountable to doing it, regularly. If you don't have something, that's ok! We'll hold your hand as we work together to uncover new opportunities to improve your health :) 2. Train your body to improve movement. We start with bodyweight and lower intensity ideas. We do our best to improve your efficiency of movement while also providing a safe, fun workout prescribed around YOUR physical limitations. 3. Approach sleep, stress and nutrition with compassion, consistency and care. Nobody is perfect but we know the way to help you consistently get you on track, even after you find yourself diving face first into a bucket of ice cream. There are so many ways to improve your health and I have found that acting as a guide in health FIRST, has been more effective than yelling at you from the sidelines. Mike started training because he found he had a knack for lifting others. And he really wanted to wear glorified sweatpants for a living. Fitness clothing is super cozy. From the perspective of motivating and pushing people to improve, I love hearing the positive impact working with me has had... 'Added 20 lbs of muscle mass in 5.5 months. Transitioned from difficulty in squeezing out lunges to developing / refining olympic lifting technique. Physical instability morphing into flexibility and strength.' I have been working with Mike for around 4 months now twice, during that time I have lost over 15lbs, 4in on my waist! Couldn't be happier with the results and we are just starting in my mind. We talk about my goals and things that I want to improve on and he implements them into our workouts. If you want to work with someone that listens and knows what he is doing you cant go wrong with Mike.

I started working with Mike in mid-October this year. I had some very specific goals that I wanted to work on - dropping my body fat percent and preparing for my first triathlon. I am well on my way to meeting both goals thanks to Mike's help. In just 6 weeks my body fat percent has dropped from 11.3 to 9%. Mike created a customized training plan for me that incorporates a mix of strength training and cardio (swim, bike, run). We have set a target time frame for my first triathlon. The first time I met with Mike he tested my range of motion throughout my body to identify weak points. I was impressed how well the plan he created helped me strengthen these areas in such a short period of time. He also comes to my house twice a week which is super convenient for me. Words I would use to describe Mike are - professional, intelligent, motivating, goal-oriented, patient, supportive, and easy-going. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for some support in reaching your goals - whatever they may be (fat loss, body building, etc.). Best personal trainer I've worked with.

Mike has been training me for just over two months now. In that time I have lost over 10 pounds and gotten significantly stronger! He sets achievable goals and always motivates me to stay on track. (Of course I slip up sometimes but he brings me back in line and doesn’t guilt me for it) He’s all about changing my bad habits and focusing on the wins for the week and bringing to my attention what to work on. Overall, I feel much healthier and as if I now make smarter decisions when it comes to diet and exercise. I can definitely see the progress, which is super rewarding. I highly recommend Mike for anyone looking to just be healthier and achieve whatever goals you may have for yourself. I am looking forward to continuing my fitness journey with Mike and to continue to get fitter and stronger every day.

I hired Mike for my husband who hasn’t worked out in years. He has gotten him in a program he is super excited about and completely motivated. It’s changed his whole approach to life. Mike is personable, educated and experienced with fitness and training, and has a healthy whole life approach that is sustainable and transforming.
