FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing at the moment are very flexible you are getting professional quality work for a fair rate as of 7-26-2022 I just started my first Thumbtack account. As my business grow and I adapt new business models to an ever growing profession and market the rates for sessions will increase, to cover retouching, studio space, new gear, lights etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the introduction, I find out what they want. Once I know that I have an idea of the type of photos that will be created. Are you interested in shooting inside of a studio or are you interested in a specific beautiful location you always dreamed of having your photo taken. There’s a lot of learning about my clients needs and wants which for makes my job go smoother. During the discussion rates are discussed for retouching, studio rental, and print prices.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught photography to high school students, worked for a commercial photography studio in the heart of New York City as well as photographed professionally as a freelancer. I learned so much working at a commercial studio from shooting, lighting and even the buisness side of photography. Teaching taught me how to deal with different personalities and character which believe it or not actually has helped me with my business.
