Best guitar lessons ever! My daughter and I have been taking lessons from Mike for about two years. We have both made great strides in our technique, music reading, and overall ability. Mike is completely dedicated to our progress. His own understanding of the instrument is amazing! I feel like we should be paying double for this level of professionalism, experience, and knowledge. He can coach on any area you want to improve on; singing while playing, a some specific music genres are some we've focused on lately. He is very workable with scheduling and provides makeup lessons if needed. We will be students as long as he teaches!

My son has been studying bass with Kevin for the past 9 months and has had such a positive experience. He has gained so much self confidence and has excelled rapidly because of Kevins unique way of teaching and connecting with his students. Kevin is incredibly profesional and very talented. I would highly recommend him for lessons!

I had only been playing for a few months before my lessons with George, and now I’ve been playing for nearly three years; having lessons for most of that time. I was a little hesitant at the idea of taking guitar lessons at first, as I had no idea what to expect from them. I had totally convinced myself that I didn’t need any sort of teaching, and that I was perfectly fine to limit my playing to just guitar tablature, but that definitely didn’t stop my parents from having me take lessons! For only having a small amount of time put into this instrument, I was headed down the right track with George’s influential lessons. He was able to assess my current playing and promptly started me out on things that I felt were making me improve, and that were at the right difficulty for me. George also didn’t always have me play things that he wanted, but rather, he always looked for input from me, for music that I liked to play, or songs that I enjoyed listening to, and then had me work on things similar to that. Even after a couple of lessons, I felt like I had learnt so much, and improved tremendously. If you ever feel like you’re stuck in a “playing rut,” or if you are just starting out on the guitar, then coming to George will be perfect for you. He’s incredibly smart, very experienced, well versed in all sorts of genres and techniques, super helpful in buying new guitars and other equipment, and he is totally willing to get you to where you need to be! Lessons with George were amazing for me, and totally redefined how I should play and think about playing guitar. This guy is awesome! -Harrison S – West Valley City, UT

I have been a student for about two years starting with no previous instrumental experience. It has been an enjoyable and rewarding process. By preference, my classes include music theory with challenging songs and concepts. Classes can be geared toward your music style and guitar preference including bass. Whatever it is you wish to learn Mike can teach it. Mike has been a patient, positive instructor; he has my strong recommendation.

Jordon and staff have been wonderful. They have been willing to work around my work schedule and sensitive to my music goals and tastes. I am also really impressed with their skills. These boys know their craft and it shows with their explanation of music theory and technique. I also like how the lessons have been set up. I learn technical skills and also learn to play songs that I will be playing for years to come ( America - if I can ever master that GMaj7 Chord, Fleetwood Mac, Santana etc...) Very impressed by how fast they take your from novice to playing songs you know and love. Thank you. - Now, if On Chord would Add some bass and drums we could put together a band!

My son loves his lessons so far and feels they are benefitting his playing.

I have 12 years of experience playing the bass guitar, as well as 5 years of teaching experience at the School of Rock in Sandy, Utah. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Music degree. Though I have experience teaching all age groups, I specialize in teaching children and teenagers. I prefer to guide the students in the teaching process and let them adapt to the lesson material of their interest.
