FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in fair, upfront pricing rooted in 15 years of field experience. I don't believe in 'quick fixes' that break a month later—I charge for high-quality parts and technical precision that saves you money on your water bill and future repairs in the long run. Service Call/Diagnostic Fee: We charge a standard diagnostic fee to get a master tech on-site to troubleshoot the system. If you move forward with the repair, that fee is often applied toward the total labor. Veteran Discount: As a veteran-owned business, we proudly offer a standing discount for active-duty members and fellow veterans. Seasonal Special: For a limited time, take $50 off any service when you book during the month of March. We provide a clear, written estimate before any hammers swing or shovels hit the dirt, so there are never any surprises on your final invoice.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is built on 15 years of technical experience and the discipline of a veteran-owned operation. I don't believe in guesswork—I believe in precision. The Initial Diagnostic: We start with a thorough walkthrough. For irrigation, that means a full system stress test—checking every zone, head, and lateral line for leaks or pressure issues that often go unnoticed. The Transparent Estimate: After the audit, I’ll walk you through exactly what’s happening underground. I provide a clear, written estimate with a breakdown of parts and labor so you know exactly what you’re paying for before we start. The Execution: Once approved, we get to work. Whether it’s a surgical repair or a full landscape overhaul, we treat your property with respect, ensuring the job site is cleaner when we leave than when we arrived. The Hand-off: I’ll walk the finished project with you to ensure it meets my standards and yours. If we’ve installed a new controller, I’ll personally program it and show you how to manage your zones from your phone. Ongoing Support: I stand by my work. If you have a question a week later, I’m just a phone call away.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My expertise is built on a foundation of 15 years of hands-on field experience and the rigorous standards of a veteran-owned business. My training covers the full spectrum of modern irrigation and landscape management: 15 Years of Technical Field Mastery: I’ve spent over a decade and a half diagnosing complex hydraulic issues, from wire-tracking and valve locating to full-scale system design and installation. Military Background: My time in the service instilled a level of discipline, attention to detail, and work ethic that I bring to every job site. If a line isn't straight or a fitting isn't perfect, it’s not done. Smart Water Technology: I stay current with the latest in water conservation and 'Smart Home' irrigation. I specialize in high-efficiency nozzle retrofits and WiFi-enabled controllers (like B-hyve and Rachio) that allow for precision scheduling based on real-time weather data. Ongoing Trade Education: I regularly attend manufacturer-led workshops to stay ahead of the curve on new piping materials, low-voltage lighting systems, and drought-tolerant landscaping techniques. I don't just fix symptoms; I understand the engineering behind the system to ensure it's efficient, sustainable, and built to last.
