FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically an insurance company approves a claim based on a scope of work. Once a scope is approved, then a software program called Xactware is used to determine a price for the scope of work. Which means, if a claim has been approved, then an Xactimate estimate is generated and the price is then approved by the adjuster. As such, we are trained and certified in the use of this software.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After working for an insurance claims adjuster and seeing the type of lacking quality provided by some of the water restoration contractors in the industry I realized there was a niche for somebody who could perform well. As such, I left my established career to start by own company and respond to disasters.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Following a water disaster, we respond 24/7 to cleanup any amount of water. We are able to respond to water jobs of any size, whether a single basement bedroom or an entire apartment complex. We are certified in the cleanup of water, mold, smoke, fire, etc.
