My name is Ash, and I’ve had the privilege of officiating weddings since 2013. It would be an honor to play a role in your special day.
I was ordained through the Universal Life Church at a pivotal moment—when marriage equality was established in Utah—so I could officiate for couples who were finally able to celebrate their love legally. That experience sparked a lasting passion for creating meaningful, personalized ceremonies.
As both a member of and ally to the LGBTQ+ community, I believe deeply that love is love. Having grown up in Utah and participated in many weddings over the years, I bring both local familiarity and a genuine commitment to making each ceremony feel authentic, inclusive, and unforgettable.
My goal is to make your day feel uniquely yours—whether that’s heartfelt, lighthearted, traditional, or completely unconventional.

My husband and I made the decision to get married one day and had the wedding the following day because of his poor health. With less than 24 hours to prepare, Ash composed a beautiful ceremony. We are both atheists, so we didn't want a lot of the traditional language people normally use. Ash was so sensitive to that and checked in with me to make sure her words were genuine and meaningful to us. The final product was perfect. We got married in our living room and Ash was comfortable coming to our home to perform the ceremony. She did a fantastic job! She was friendly with our guests but also so professional and left us to celebrate after the ceremony. If I had all the time in the world to plan my wedding, Ash would still be my number one choice. She's so caring, courteous, sensitive, and professional!

Ash gave us the ceremony that we dreamed of. We wanted something unique and that felt like us. We felt zero pressure from Ash to fit any sort of idea of what a wedding "should" be. She completely focused on what we wanted. We created the ceremony we wanted from scratch. Ash helped us feel so calm and prepared for the biggest day of our lives. My husband and I decided to elope at the last second and Ashley was able to help us right away. Even though it was rushed she still made it perfect and wrote the most beautiful ceremony considering what little time she had. I would recommend Ashley for anyone's wedding!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base price is $150 for Salt Lake County, $175 if travel outside of Salt Lake County.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to meet with the couple a few weeks prior to the wedding to get an idea of who you are and what you would like included in your ceremony. I have a general outline/script that is used, but will customize it to meet the happy couple's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have officiated for several weddings and have modified my process based on experience and feedback from these weddings.
