Well ahead of your wedding day, we meet together in person or virtually for me to learn how you met, what you love about each other, date you chose, stage of life, marriage goals, kind of atmosphere you both want, etc: lighthearted, spiritual, simple, profound, or deeply emotional. You can - or have someone close to you - review the script ahead of time. I will include or exclude anything you desire, including verbiage, tone, length, readings, rituals—until it feels exactly right. ️ 2. Your vows and ceremony wording are crafted just for you. I write personalized vows or help you write your own. The ceremony script is shaped around your values, your personalities, and the moments that matter most to you. Your traditions and beliefs are honored. Whether you want something secular, spiritual, interfaith, or a blend of traditions, I tailor the ceremony so it feels authentic and welcoming to everyone present and - MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU! 3. Your ceremony will be customized. Every couple has a unique story. I make sure your ceremony reflects that. If needed, I will be sensitive to relationship dynamics of those who be attending, e.g. divorced parents, ex-partners, religious conflict, etc . If desired and possible, I will assist with practice ceremonies. 4. The day of your wedding, I will arrive early to be aware of any last minute details important to you or unexpected charges which will alter what has been planned. I will deliver and coordinate your ceremony not reading word for word with your ceremony. I will perform it as well as if I were having my own performed: natural, heartfelt, and truly yours.
