- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are always seminars, webinars, articles, or events I try to attend that help me to further my education in photography and the business side of things.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My creativity has been with me as far back as I can remember. I remember 'selling' my drawings of mermaids to my siblings for a penny when I was about 5 years old. As I grew a bit older and got my first camera it just felt so comfortable. I eventually became the family 'photographer' always the one capturing events or holidays. I enjoyed this responsibility. Eventually I invested in decent equipment and started taking photography seriously. After years of practice I decided to make a career out of it. I was eventually able to quit my job of six years as a medical assistant to do what I love full time. I have come such a long way and learn more and more every day. I am excited to see where photography takes me next!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I photograph engagements, formal sessions (bridals) and wedding days. Along with any other type of lifestyle session.
