Q&A

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are continually learning new tricks of the trade from YouTube and the Internet. Some of our crew has gone so far as to read window washing books and we all share in new best practices.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
We offer our customers $30 off their next appointment when setting up a recurring service and then 10% off for life. We call it our Lifetime Discount. All bids are free. We charge per pane at around $2.00 per window pane on the outside and $1.00 per inside with a $69 minimum. Higher or hard-water caked windows are a bit more, as is new construction cleanup.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Two starving college students were introduced to this line of work by friends. What originally was a vehicle to help support us through school has morphed into a thriving small business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We wash residential and commercial windows. We wash screens and will even power wash the dirt off homes if needed. We also have a cleaning service for in home and office cleaning that is reasonably priced.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We service the majority of the Subways in the Salt Lake valley and when I (Aaron) do a store I always time myself and make it a game to see if I can beat my last time's washing. I am always pleased when I exceed the timing expectation of the customer because I know everyone is busy and no one wants to wait around for a service provider to finish a job.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise them to invite the provider out to give a bid and see if you feel comfortable with them in your home. Trust is important in this line of work and people work with those whom they can count on not only doing a good job at a good price but who keep commitments and work with good character.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Window Washing is a highly competitive industry and demands perfection, speed, and low prices. We have all three and that's why our customers often refer their neighbors and family.
