I hired these guys to put Christmas lights on my home in November. I wish I hadnt.
My lights quit working three weeks after they were put up. I got up there myself to see what the problem was, and one of the plugs was broken in half, but had been jury-rigged. I put in a replacement, and they worked for a couple of days. On Christmas Eve, they quit working again.
We bought the string of lights from a different service in a prior year. We NEVER had any problems with them before now.
Before putting the lights on the house, these guys insisted on replacing all of the ends for an extra charge, of course. I am now convinced that some of those ends are defective, or were installed incorrectly, and thats why my lights no longer work. I now have to go through and inspect each one.
These guys charge by the hour. They billed me for two hours, when they were here for barely more than one.
If you want your lights to work for the entire season, hire someone else.
