At Diverse Diva, I will help take your wedding preparations off your shoulders but never fully out of your hands. I specialize in weddings that might be a little bit offbeat, a little bit funky, and definitely a wedding day that is as unique as you and your partner. Whether you already have a vision of what you want, or need help from the ground up, I am ready to make your day magical. I'm so excited that all members of our community can now legally marry! I am very passionate about Marriage Equality and I am a very proud supporter of the LGBTQ community. I believe everyone should have a magical wedding day and I am ready to serve ALL members of Utah's diverse community. I have enjoyed working with Angela. She is very organized and detail oriented. She takes pride in everything she does and works hard to make sure that everyone is satisfied with the work she does. She was caring and very understanding of my needs and desires. She is open to new ideas and thinks outside the box. She is very personable and a joy to work with. So much of traditional wedding planning is in the trust and keeping of the Bride, sometimes instilled over the course of a lifetime. When planning my wedding with my husband-to-be, none of that training or information had really came to either of us. The task of shaping the event we envisioned was overwhelming! Angie helped scale the perspective and lead us to the resources we needed to get started. When the time came to make decisions she offered advice without taking away choices and only intervened if I was flailing. It was a great boon to the eventual success of our big day!

My husband and I can't say enough about how much we loved working with Angie throughout the whole wedding planning process. First of all, she is warm, caring and kind, and genuinely listened to my ideas from the beginning. She was always there when I had a question or needed last minute help. She is highly organized and super responsive via e-mail and text btw, which is very helpful for two busy people! Having Angie there on our wedding day to take care of the little things such as grabbing cards, champagne, and lunch for our wedding party as well as a few of the bigger things helped everything run smoothly! It also enabled our out-of-town friends and family to be able to enjoy the wedding instead of having to work on our special day. Angie even had a bridal and groom's emergency kit that the groomsmen definitely took advantage of :) When it was all said and done, everything was perfect and we couldn't have done it without Angie! Thank you so much!!!

This girl knows how to plan a wedding, I've seen her at work as I've filmed a few weddings that she's planned. She's awesome, fun and knows how to keep the wedding day on track One thing I really love about her is she always makes sure to let the videographers and photographers know when any special surprise moments might be coming up to make sure we don't miss capturing anything.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Typically, I like to gather a few more details from my clients through a digital pre-consultation questionnaire. Once I have had a chance to read through their answers, I will create an idea board before we even have a consultation. That way, I am already thinking about ideas that I can bring to the table. If they give me specific vendors they may want to work with, I will take the liberty of checking their availability for the clients desired date. I will then schedule a 1-hour free consultation (either in person or on the phone) to go over their questionnaire and discuss their needs. I will then build a quote for them based on their planning needs.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I worked in retail management for over 20 years, and was responsible for planning many corporate and charity events. I over saw 14 separate retail locations and helped plan events for them on a monthly basis.
