The lock on my patio door does not latch, and I called, to see how much it would be to just replace it. I repair most things around my home, but just dont have the time to do this - so knowing the kit at Home Depot is 56 dollars, I figured I would hire a pro. I was quoted $425! To place four screws and a Mortise? I will handle this job myself. Very disappointed that people are taking advantage like this. Another person on thumbtack is is charging me 95 bucks!
