If I could give no stars, I would. Shabnam Tailor is an enormous fraud. I contracted with her (and paid a deposit) to send someone to make balloon animals for my daughter's first birthday party, for one hour. I called her to confirm the booking and emphasized that we had a tight schedule and to please make sure that the employee was exactly on time. The employee showed up ONE HOUR LATE, and the children who had been waiting had already left by the time this woman showed up. I had left my own daughter's party to frantically call Shabnam, who first said that she would check on the whereabouts and get back to me, and then never called me back and never picked up her phone again. The worst part is, I emailed Shabnam telling her to refund me the deposit I paid her two weeks ago. Without any communication from Shabnam, I received an ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR THE BALANCE, after Shabnam ruined the party and provided no service at all. I have still had no response, explanation, or apology from Shabnam for her horrible attitude and for disappointing a roomful of kids.
I should add that after I shared my experience on Facebook, numerous brides emailed me to let me know that this company had let them down for bridal mehndi as well. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

I'm writing this under my boyfriend's account but I am a 39 year old female who loves henna! I have had henna done on my hands twice now by Shabnam and she is fabulous. Both times I went to her house to have it done and she could not have been more accommodating. The work she does is brilliant and it is just an over all great experience. I highly recommend her!

This lady is the truth! I moved out here 9 months ago and had my Henna done here. This was the 2nd place I tried since moving to DMV and the 1st place, I had an awful experience. I have gotten my henna done more than 3 times, she remembers me each time and knows exactly what to do without asking. She is very warm and friendly and does Wonderful job better than anybody ever has done before!
