FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For home organization I charge $80/hr, with a 5-hour initial session, after which I have a 4-hour minimum. There is also a possibility to do prep-work in advance via Zoom so we can hit the ground running when we meet in person.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether you just moved or have lived in your home for decades, I work with you to develop a clear, personalized vision of the home you desire. We start by discussing the needs of your project on a short video or phone call. Each project is unique, so I may ask you to send some photos in advance to help me strategize prior to arriving. During this time, I also work with you to determine what organizational style is most natural and sustainable for you (yes, there are different styles!). From there, we set your first appointment, and the work begins! As an interior designer, I will constantly be looking for ways to maximize your space while creating a comfortable, efficient set-up. Many clients have found that they enjoy having my eye for aesthetics and space planning, and so it's not uncommon that we continue to work together beyond the initial scope of home organization, moving into Feng Shui, holistic interior design, and other tools for balanced home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters Certificate in Interior Design from Heritage School of Interior Design, 2018 8 years of experience as a team member and leader of a small business (2012-2020) 3 years of professional home organization (2018-2021)
