Nesbitt Realty managed two rental properties for me in Alexandria, VA from 2016 to 2021. Any landlord will tell you that it's rarely a smooth ride, and we did have some periodic bumps in the road brought on by ornery tenants and unexpected repairs. In all cases, Andrew, our assigned property manager, performed exceptionally. He was responsive, attentive, and proactive - at no time did I ever feel like I was chasing him for information about our properties. For my taste, the level of communication was spot on: we received concise, relevant reports about what was going on in our rentals.We were sufficiently impressed by Andrew's attentiveness to the property management side of things that, when we decided to list these properties for sale, we wanted him leading the effort. As the listing agent, Andrew once again exceeded our expectations. Both home sales were not without their respective setbacks: the first was peppered with multiple requests from the buyers to make changes. The second was an uphill battle as the tenants flat-out denied access to inspectors and appraisers, as well as to Andrew himself. Through all of this, Andrew was methodical and professional, and we were still able to close with minimal delays, even in the face of outright hostility from the outgoing tenants.I would enthusiastically recommend Nesbitt Realty to anyone in the Alexandria area who is looking for a well-executed management or sale experience. Well worth the money.

We rented a condo that was managed by Nesbitt Realty. Alan Clerinx who was the agent for the unit was very responsive from the day we contacted him and all throughout 3.5 years we were living in the unit. In the middle of the lease contract, we bought a home and had to break the lease. Alan helped us put it on the market to find new tenants and made the transition as smoothly as possible. During our stay at the condo unit, we had reached out to Alan each time something needed attention in the unit and it did not take him long to find us an answer. He made our experience with Nesbitt Realty very positive. Kim, an office staff, was also very helpful whenever I visited the office to drop off the rent and/or to ask questions. Thanks, Kim, for all your help. :)

Alan, and the rest of the team at Nesbitt, managed my rental in Northern Virginia for several years. They always found quality renters that minimized vacancy and handled any issues quickly and in a cost effective manner. I wouldn't hesitate to have them manage another property.

Our experience with Nesbitt Reality and the property manager Alan Clerinx was extremely positive. We met Alan while helping family members find a new home that were from out of State but planning to move near us very soon. This endeavor wasnt easy but Alan made the entire process very painless. Alan quickly responded to our many questions with exactly the information we needed. The application process from beginning to happily ending with the walk through was as good as it gets. Based on this experience feel confident that Alan Clerinx and Nesbitt reality will continue to be responsible and reliable team for this rental property.

I was needing to find a condo apartment quickly and knew nothing about Arlington real estate. So I looked for a small local realtor. Andrew sends online updates for listings from Nesbitt Realty, so I decided to contact him to help us find a place to live. From hundreds of miles away with just one in-person visit, Andrew was able to narrow down what we were looking for in our price range, show us a variety of apartments in that range, help us negotiate with the seller, arrange financing and inspection, find a sublettor when we could not move right away, and generally give us clear, straightforward advice. I am still amazed at how well this process all went, and Andrew is the prime reason for it. We are very grateful to him and give him the highest recommendation.
