Peter's approach blends artistic and practical and the outcome of our project has surpassed our wildest dreams. His skill is on display in every corner of our house and the design for our renovation that we developed together flows smoothly and effortlessly from room to room. Peter was also able to work seamlessly with the contractor we selected to bring this vision to life. This is evident in the frequent compliments we receive on our renovated home from friends, family, neighbors and passers by!

We've used Peter for two projects now. The first got glowing reviews for the Historical Board from which we needed approval. The second continues to get compliments from not just friends and family, but random people stopping as the walk down the street:)

Peter is a joy to work with. He knew and shared my value for esthetics, handicapped accessibility and the environment. I have wonderful photos but I am away from home now.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The typical design process is comprised of three large and two small steps. 1. Schematic Design (What are we going to do?) The ideas phase where the clients desires are translated into loose drawings and options the possibilities. 2. Design Development (How are we going to do it?) More formal drawings of how the project would be constructed and meet code/budget restrictions. 3. Construction Documents (Tell someone else how to do it) The CD's are designed to tell the County/City authorities exactly what we propose to do and they verify that it meets the zoning/code requirements. A Contractor can also provide a 'tight' price for the work. The County/City issues a permit to the contractor to build the project. 4. Bidding - Assist the client in contractor selection 5. Construction Administration- Answer questions and observe the work under construction.
