Taking a chance on a new contractor, I found a gem in Ronaldo. I entered the details of my small project on Thumbtack. Right away, the 3 contractors with many good reviews rejected my roughly 60sqft project (door, trim, & shutters), too small! I received quotes from 3 alternate contractors. Two of them were for the same amount, the other was higher. Ronaldo was one of two I was considering. I sent my project photos to all three contractors; Ronaldo was the only one who took the time to come by for a closer look. This was in February when the weather was still cold. We agreed to wait for warmer weather. Ronaldo called as soon as we had the first stretch of 3 days above 60 degrees (proactive). He showed up the following day with his brother. Both worked on scraping, priming, and painting for 4 hours straight. As the paint was drying, it was clear there was some touching up to be done. Ronaldo had another appointment to go to but promised to be back to perform the touchup in a few days. I paid him in full. A week later, he came back, painted a third coat on everything for good measure. My front door and shutters look fantastic now; I keep getting compliments from my neighbors. We’re getting Ronaldo to come back to patch up our ceilings and paint the interior. We try to support small businesses whenever we can. To find someone capable and trustworthy is such a bonus. Ronaldo is diligent, his rates are reasonable. I’m very happy with the results, I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.
