- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is clear and based on the crew size, services needed, and time used. Local moving rates with a truck: 2 movers: $399 for the first 2 hours, then $130 per hour 3 movers: $480 for the first 2 hours, then $180 per hour 4 movers: $580 for the first 2 hours, then $230 per hour Additional time is prorated in 15-minute increments. The truck, fuel for local moves, moving blankets, dollies, basic tools, and standard furniture disassembly and reassembly are included. For hourly moves, time begins when the crew arrives at the pickup address and continues through loading, transportation between addresses, unloading, and completion of the move. Packing materials are charged only when requested or used. We also provide labor-only loading and unloading, packing services, and written flat-rate estimates for qualifying long-distance moves. A $100 deposit reserves your date and is applied toward your final balance. We offer a 5% discount for military members, police officers, and educators.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by confirming your moving date, pickup and delivery addresses, inventory, stairs or elevators, parking access, and any packing needs. Based on those details, we recommend the right crew size and truck and provide clear pricing before you book. Once the agreement is signed and the deposit is received, your arrival window is reserved. On moving day, our team protects your furniture, carefully loads the truck, disassembles and reassembles standard furniture when needed, and keeps you updated throughout the move. We handle local residential moves, apartment moves, townhouse and single-family home moves, storage-unit moves, packing, and labor-only loading and unloading throughout Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and nearby Maryland.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our movers receive hands-on training in safe lifting, furniture wrapping, property protection, efficient truck loading, packing, and standard furniture disassembly and reassembly. Our crews have experience moving apartments, condos, townhouses, single-family homes, offices, and storage units. We also train our team to handle mattresses, televisions, glass furniture, exercise equipment, oversized items, and fragile belongings carefully. Just as importantly, we emphasize professional communication, punctuality, and respect for each customer’s home and belongings.
