He did a great job putting both office furniture and upholstered bed together. Was professional, pleasant, neat, and extremely willing to please. Would highly recommend him and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
Hired Charlie and his crew literally last minute and he was able to accommodate us. We just had them move our big items and they did it with ease. They disassembled and reassembled our furniture into our new house. Thanks again for the help!
Trenton assembled 3 pieces of office furniture for me. He was on time and professional. There were issues w/ the delivery of the furniture, but Trenton was understanding about the situation and returned to complete each piece when it arrived to my office. I would hire him again!
I hired Rob to help me with various tasks around my new apartment, from installing a TV mount and mounting the TV to putting together some furniture, and some other tasks. He was excellent, thorough, and efficient. He went out of his way to help me with some small problems that I was having, such as a back flow faucet and some fluorescent light mounts in the kitchen. We strategized on several additional future tasks as I definitely plan to hire him again. I was very pleased with his competence and his expertise. I recommend him highly. I have also just recommended him to a friend.
Fredy and Carlos were wonderful! They arrived early and although I had initially only requested they move my furniture and up to 10 boxes, they moved everything at no additional cost. Even provided me a fee boxes at no additional cost. My only concern was a few bins were cracked/broken and the bottom felt on my dining chairs punctured/torn. Fredy was, however, able to move a fragile desk for me with no problem!!! I would definitely use them again!
Timothy helped me with my move from Baltimore to a studio apartment Washington, DC. The main pieces were a few large IKEA furniture and many boxes of personal items. It took a few hours from start to finish. Although he was on vacation at the time, Timothy arranged for my move from Trinidad. He was quick to adapt to challenges presented by my furniture and the narrow corridors and stairwells they had to go down. I was very satisfied with my move and even had time to go hang around my new neighbourhood before starting to unpack. Timothy was personable and friendly. He is the type that rolls up his own sleeves before asking his team to chip in. It was great getting to know him and he has the best recommendations for Ethiopian! All in all, I was very satisfied. Aside from a few dents in the wall from very challenging furniture and some miscommunication, everything ended up just right. Thanks!
The job went well and the movers were very quick in taking boxes to and from each location. My furniture was wrapped in shrink wrap plus blankets to ensure it was not harmed in the process. The movers did arrive later than expected and I had to call the owner to find out where they were. Other than the early setback the move went smoothly with no issues. Would use again. Highly recommended movers at an affordable cost.
Highly recommended! We needed to move selected pieces to a storage unit. Greg and his team were ready at the requested time - arrived a little before to be sure - and worked quickly to get items downstairs so the dedicated elevator could be released for passengers. On arrival at the storage unit, the team placed items just as I had measured/planned to get everything into a tight space, even when it involved overhead lifting or crawling on the floor to scoot items closer together. Really appreciate the effort! I was also impressed with Greg's professionalism. He responded quickly to my request and was (I suspect) the only vendor to read through my requirements before responding - he tailored his quote to my situation, rather than just asking me to call to discuss. He provided insurance information as requested by our building and stayed in touch before Move Day to make sure everything was still on track. We had a small-world moment when we realized that Greg's company had been hired by a furniture vendor to do an installation for us a couple months ago. In that situation, they worked in an open office during the business day and did not disrupt our operations at all. We are a pretty laid-back place, but still - that is impressive. I was glad to know that the same team was managing today's move!
I was beyond impressed with Tony. He helped me put together furniture (stools, couch, etc) hang blinds and put up a backsplash. Tony is very detailed orientated, does not cut corners, and is very patient. One thing I really appreciated was he assisted me in calling the customer service center of the company that sent me my coffee table with the wrong parts, and told them exactly what I needed. I will definitely be having Tony come back to help me put together my coffee table and my future furniture!
We had enormously a lot of furniture from ikea to be assambeled , Stavo was the best choice. He is a very liable, correct , polite and pays a lot of attention to his work quality. Thank you so much for your support dear Stavo .
Would definitely use him again!! He was amazing to work with and knew exactly what he was going with putting our furniture together!! He even hung some items for us!
Super impressed! Was incredibly responsive and showed up on time. Hired for wallpaper and he did a fantastic job. While here, they disassembled and reassembled furniture that my movers said could not fit in my house. Having them come back to do more.
Received excellent service! I had two items to be assembled: a sofa and a 5 feet high tv storage. Ernest responded quickly to my queries, came right on time on the same day I initially sent a request for quote. He told me he estimates two hours to take the job and charged me at an hourly rate. He finished on time and didn't blow my budget. He also gave me a piece of good advice on the TV storage and we went ahead with his advice. He was very courteous and helpful. I'll highly recommend him to be hired for furniture related work.
Wouldn't hire anyone but Justin! He put together three huge IKEA pieces for me and was so kind. Very professional and very thorough in his work. I am so so impressed and happy with my furniture. Fast, affordable, and a great guy!! Will definetley be calling him whenever I need help again.
-Ikea Assembly- Naum was great assembling the IKEA furniture. He help me with several items. He did everything practically without reading the manuals and in record time. Highly recommended!
I had a great experience letting Alpha Wolf assemble my furniture. Most of it was from Ikea but there was also a piece from target. Darrell handled all of it perfectly and did a great job.
They were very willing to work with our schedule and did a great job with the furniture assembly!
Mop & Move has done a great job in carefully moving my furniture to my other house. The workers were really professional and trustworthy. I would definitely recommend this moving/cleaning company to anyone who’s looking for someone to move their furniture & items.
Gary is a very personable and communicative person. He was diligent in reaching out to understand the job, worked extremely hard, and made sure to treat all of my things with care. The only constructive criticism I would offer is that I think he should’ve brought an additional person to help (my furniture is somewhat heavy and bulky and I think he underestimated it lol). Aside from that, I was satisfied.
I was really impressed with Hugo and his work. He came to my house the next day after getting the quote - which was very reasonable. He did the work i needed, and tested the results with me to ensure I was satisfied. He also patched drywall that was cut during the installation, and completely cleaned up and replaced furniture that was moved. The repair is so good - it's almost like it never happened.
In planning our move from Northern Virginia to our home in Florida, My wife and I faced a potentially costly issue with having to replace our dining room table and buffet set, because the 104" long table would not fit into the considerably smaller dining room in our new home in Florida. Although we really did not want to replace the set, we had already conceded that we would have to run a local Craigslist ad, and hopefully be able to find a buyer who would offer us pennies on a dollar for the set, or have to give it away for free before the movers show up in 30 days. My wife was already looking at $5,000 replacement sets. Ouch! Running out of time, I thought if I could find a skilled woodworking craftsman that would take on a small but challenging project such cutting down a table top by about 20", we may be able to make the dining set work in the new home. Through Thumbtack, I described the project, received a list of potential woodworkers, and solicited to a half dozen furniture builders for the project. I received a response from only one individual, Gerry Hurley of Max Min Design. I read the reviews of Gerry's work, and impressed by the photos of his past projects, we hired Gerry. Gerry's price to do the project was very reasonable, and in addition, he said that he would be able to complete the job in ample time before the movers show up. Gerry got right on it. He came to the house with the right tools and was able to do a fantastic job; cutting down the table top, making the necessary modifications to the under supports, shortening the finished side rails, and stained and finished the end cut surface to perfectly match the rest of the table. Gerry even used scrap from wood removed to make a number of matching wood plugs to cover all the new screw holes in the shortened side rails, to look exactly like the original construction. To look at the table now, it is impossible to detect that the table had ever been modified. In addition, Gerry also stained and finished the 20" section that was removed so that I can possibly use later for a nice sized matching coffee table. All I need to do is add the four legs. Gerry, I welcome you and your good ethical nature to this USA. The end product and the professionalism you show in your work clearly portrays the pride you take in your skill and craftsmanship. A great job Gerry! Thank you!
