Introduction: - Hello! And welcome to my DJ, photography and videography services page! My name is Clyde Philippe and I am a Brooklyn Native raised in New York City. From 2009-2016, I was a part-time DJ And event photographer in NYC while I studied graphic design as an undergrad student. In 2017, I moved to Norfolk, Virginia to pursue a career in Graphics Design. I continued to DJ and do event photography on the side and got the privilege to work with numerous businesses and event venues all over Virginia Beach. I worked hard enough to start my own LLC (Philippe Productions LLC) and now serve the people of Hampton Roads full time; With quality DJ entertainment, photography and creative direction. I have done 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, R&B, Country and even pop parties all over the seven cities. Currently I am a resident DJ at 3 restaurant venues/ Bars and perform there at least 3-4 times a week. My DJ packages are tailored so my customers can customize every part of their experience. One of my many hopes is that you chose me to lead your special nights and create moments that are worthwhile. I have DJ’ed for people from all walks of life including the Governor of Virginia. Communication is key to me, which is why I will make sure that your night would be one to remember. Clyde was the DJ for our 30th wedding renewal. From the moment I contacted him I knew I made the right choice. He was professional, had a detailed contract which allowed us to make song selections. At the wedding everyone partied. The music was a hit. Everyone was asking how I found this amazing DJ. He kept the dance floor packed. I would HIGHLY recommend him for any event!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My prices start at a BASE price (For example $150 for the first two hours) and then a separate charge for each additional hour.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I work the same with all customers. I create an electronic invoice that includes a deposit request. Once the deposit is paid, a date is secured and a package is emailed to the customer containing various questions and concerns regarding the event. The rest of the payment is due the day of. All of which can be done online OR in person.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I have worked 5 plus years in event planning and coordination in New York City with events holding +200 guests. When i realized I can organize event well, I moved onto leading the parties by being a DJ or providing an ancillary service such as photography and videography. I have work 4 years in the Hampton Roads Doing Event Photography, Videography, and deejaying based on the work I did in NYC. I am a natural when it comes to adapting and was introduced to these many fields by my friends and family.
