Noemi was prompt, courteous, professional, and very capable. She arrived on time (actually early) and as I was waiting for another person to arrive, I gave her instructions on how to get to the kitchen. When I got to the kitchen to go over things with her, she had already started and made herself at home with minimal instruction and without making me feel like my personal space was invaded. Her meal prep was excellent and timed perfectly for our 3 course meal. The flavors were amazing and her understanding of the pace of a meal and how to insert herself without interrupting conversation was impeccable. We had teriyaki beef skewers, chicken pad Thai, and lava cake. All excellent. Working with her before hand to develop the menu was easy and really took a lot of stress off of my plate. She has great knowledge and skill in preparation of a variety of cuisine genres. She needs very little direction to get going and create the food/atmosphere you desire. A must hire for your next catered event!!!

Noemi and her Bronx Gourmet team did an outstanding and professional job catering my daughter's wedding on May 9th in Virginia Beach. Food was awesome, and the service was over the top! From our pre-wedding consultations and food tasting...to the set-up, food and beverage serving, and take-down...we could not have asked for a better company to cater this special event. Cannot think of a thing that went wrong, it was perfect! Thank you so much Noemi!

Noemi catered my wife's surprise birthday party. The party was at a meeting room at a local hotel. From our first meeting, Noemi was professional and engaging. This was my first time planning for an event of this size (75 expected guest) and first time using a professional catering service. Noemi sensed that was a bit overwhelmed and ensured me that she would take good care of me and everything would be fine! Noemi presented her credentials, inquired as to what type of cuisine I wanted, when, where and how many guest. She was very helpful in ensuring that my menu was balanced, without overly influencing what I wanted. As time progressed towards the event Noemi stayed in continual contact and promptly addressed any questions and concerns I had (including a few menu changes on my part :-)) Everyone enjoyed the food. I must point out that my wife enjoyed the variety of dishes, but RAVED for days about the lasagna and the shrimp!! I also truly enjoyed the chicken (grilled and Parmesan). We were pleasantly surprised that a woman from "da Bronx" could make excellent "down home" collard greens! Noemi is an excellent chef and caterer. My wife and I have already discuss having Noemi cater a romantic dinner for just us two! I look forward to enjoying the food of my professional chef and new friend in the near future.

Wow! That basically describes how fantastic our experience with Noemi at the Bronx Gourmet was from start to finish. When I first contacted her, I didn't know what to expect (I've never hired a caterer before). She helped guide us through what options would work best for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. The food was AMAZING...I can't tell you the number of complements we received. She decorated the home where we held the reception, her professional servers made sure that everyone had plenty to eat, she even fixed my husband and I plates to eat so that we could just relax. I truly can't put into a review what a fantastic job she did for us!! Thank you SO much Noemi!

I just got married this past weekend and with all the stress of wedding planning and a budget Noemi was the best of both worlds.. I kina gave her an idea of what I wanted for food and my budget and she stuck to both!! The food was outstanding, she and her crew were on time set it all up and served us as well as cleaned it up and boxed the leftovers for us!! She was super sweet and helpful! You get skeptical online never meeting them before but I took a chance and she blew my mind! Seriously the best catering around!! :) can't wait to use her in the future!

Pricing is based on three things: 1. Type of food desired by the client (chicken, steak, seafood, lamb, etc) 2. Number of guests 3. Client's budget either per person or the whole event
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Associate's in Culinary Arts, Bachelor's in Food Service Management, and Master's in Business & Hospitality Management. I cooked for 15 years in the military & now I'm a business owner!! In a nutshell, I'm educated and I know what I'm doing!!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After 15+ year of cooking in the United States Navy, I decided to continue my culinary path and learn the gourmet side of my industry. Once I found out what personal chefs do, I knew that's what I wanted to do. My passion for this far exceeds just putting a meal on a plate. To me, its the most sincerest thing you can offer a person.
