I was referred to The Pool Guy of Va by two of my neighbors. We needed our liner replaced and a new salt system for an upcoming graduation party. I'm glad I listened to my neighbors because everything came out amazing! The pool looked great! He spent extra time to ensure that the ground water was removed by installing new well points and completely repaired the bottom before the liner was installed.He then came back three times in two days to make sure that the liner had filled correctly and the pool was operating properly. He installed a new salt system and even re-piped the entire system without charging us for the repair. The level of workmanship was outstanding! I would highly recommend The Pool Guy of Va to anyone. I'm a longtime customer, and have always been highly satisfied with all of the services provided. We were having problems with our pools PH levels about 8 years ago, even though we had our pool regularly serviced by a different pool company. I asked around and was referred here. I called and the owner came out promptly to provide pricing for servicing our pool throughout the summer. He even identified the source of the PH problem during that initial visit. We have not had any problems and have been using the Pool Guy of Virginia ever since. Any repairs that do come up are quickly quoted and made. The owner and his workers are always very professional and spend no time lounging around, they put in work and get it right, the first time.

First of all, look at our pool pictures illustrated on his site (which I may add he was not authorized to use). Several of them are of our newly installed liner. Well, look below how it looks now one season later!!!! Had to select a star to write a &%$# negative posting on this guy. Too bad there are no "negative" stars. Anyway, almost a year later (a brand new liner) and the vinyl liner he installed developed the worst wrinkles I have ever seen throughout the entire pool and you can see the gunite has slid away from the sides underneath, as the liner shows evidence of large deposits and mounds. Now, I am losing water everyday. Terrible installation and unprofessional service. Con artist, indeed. DO NOT LET HIM INSTALL YOUR LINER!!!! Now to write to the liner company with the same information. Whose at fault the liner manufacturer or the guy they authorize to install it? Certainly a waste of money....

First of all, you were pleased with the completed job when we finished. We even worked with you on payment after you had an emergency and couldn't hold up on your end of the contract on time. We even came back and re-set the liner for free after a major rain storm a month after the liner install. So, why did you wait a whole year without contacting me again if you were still having issues? You were told during the install that you had a serious groundwater issue and that you needed to get that taken care of as soon as well. Or you would develop wrinkles again after a good storm.. and you did...which we fixed for free.. (So you cannot blame us for the pool liner floating after a year of torential rain.) You have NEVER called us this year to address this issue . We would have gladly worked with you to rectify the ground water problems you are having. But your current issues have NOTHING to do with the pool liner Installation. As you can see from the pictures we did a great job on the pool bottom repairs and the liner install, as well as the warranty work after the heavy downpour . So, How was this a terrible installation and unprofessional service!?! I understand you being upset with the situation but You cannot seriously Hold us responsible for the bottom washing out again after the extremely heavy rains we have had this past year. Especially considering that You still have not done anything to rectify the ground water issues that caused your original pool damage to start with!! You need permanant well points installed on a seperate pump or a surface water drainage system installed around the pool. Otherwise, No matter How many liners you put in that pool, you will continue to have the same problem. (AS YOU WERE TOLD DURING INSTALL LAST YEAR) To which you replied.. " I know..I know ..I'll get it taken care of a soon as we can" . So, I dont really know what to say.. Im sorry you felt that this was our fault but you cant blame us for mother nature. And again...why didnt you call me again to address this problem?! You never even gave us a chance to help you this year this year! HOWEVER...We can help you fix the Pool. We can smooth out the bottom again and remove the wrinkles. You just have to call me and set an appointment..But if you dont rectify the ground water issue.. (LIKE I TOLD YOU LAST YEAR). It will just keep happening again and again. So please, I urge you to contact the manufacturer and listen to what they tell you before you start calling Me a con artist. (BTW really !?!) But, Thanks for the review anyway.

Mr. Abercrombie has maintained our pool for years. We originally hired him because of an excellent recommendation from a fellow pool owner. We needed a new liner. He had many available choices and patterns, but highly recommended the 28 millimeter liner. We found a beautiful pattern, arranged for the install, and the Pool Guy of Virginia and his crew started work the very next week, repairing damage to the bottom of the pool underneath the old liner, refinished the steps, painted the coping, and, when finished the same day, we were looking at a brand new beautiful pool. He gave us a fair price, answered all questions, and did such a fantastic job, that we continued to utilize his company for bi-weekly service appointments. He has worked on our pool (which still looks brand new) for over four years, has never missed an appointment and always made up for inclement weather and even completes service on weekends and holidays. He is trustworthy, hard working, and dependable. We highly recommend The Pool Guy of Virginia to anyone looking for a professional in this field. Thank you, Mr. Abercrombie.

FADAY ELAYAN has never been a customer of ours and never will be. He is upset that I would not buy a faulty product from his store (Customized Teez) in in Chesapeake. This review is completely untrue and nothing more than retaliation for the TRUE review we posted about his atrocious customer service and faulty products sold at his shop in his shop. It it sad when someone stoops to such a low level, GUARANTEED we wont ever use his shop again.
