I got several quotes via email, including one from Eduards Wood Floors LLC. I invited Eduards and 2 other contractors to actually come to my residence, evaluate what needed to be done, and give me an estimate.
Eduards gave me the best estimate after actually coming to my residence.
(The 2nd contractor added in $200 to replace all the molding where the walls meet the floor -- which led me to believe they would not be careful about preserving the molding I already have. The 3rd contractor could not make it because his father in law was in the hospital -- his reviews indicated he had trouble connecting with others in general.)
Eduards not only lived up to their estimate (no hidden fees or surprises), they were able to accommodate my specific schedule.
They arrived on time, finished on time, and cleaned up after themselves!
Also, their oral and written communication was great.
I had not touched my wood parquet floors in almost 15 years. After Eduards refinished my floors, they look brand new -- even some really dark stains in the dining room and master bedroom have disappeared.
The color of the floors is brighter, which gives the entire place a new breath of life!
I would use Eduards again in a heartbeat and recommend them highly. They deserve 5 stars.

Juan and his team did a really great job! There was some confusion about when I needed the work done but Juan squeezed me in and made sure to come to my house the next day. The floors look great. I will definitely be hiring him again.

Wonderful job, 5 stars! I was getting ready to put my home on the market for sale, and needed to get my floors refinished in a quick turnaround. Juan was able to fit me in quickly, and for a great price. The floors turned out better than I could have hoped! I just wish I had called them earlier so I could enjoy the beautiful floors while I lived there! I will absolutely be giving referrals to family and friends.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently completed a job doing stairs for a client off of Thumbtack, they had stairs installed that didn't match the stain of their flooring, they called me over to refinish the stairs and I was able to finish them matching the stains perfectly. The customer was very pleased and I was happy to receive a nice tip - they were very grateful for my work.
