They were on time. Installed 3 cabinets on the wall in kids room. Took them about an hour to install. Very friendly and courteous. They even said that if i face any problem with the cabinet since its from IKEA and is not solid wood, that they will come and fix it agin. Will defiantly use them agin.
The job required installation of several floor cabinets in a kitchen. On one side the cabinets were raised off the floor, mounted away from the wall, and a butcher block counter top cut and installed. On the other, sink side, a cabinet was installed and all cabinets on that wall were leveled to allow for installation of a counter top. The individual doing the job provided ideas on how to proceed and worked quickly to provide a quality product. He was willing to work around the clock to complete the installation and worked continuously while on site. I trust his judgement and his work ethic is above reproach. I would certainly recommend him for any job you may have.
After a water event, Lee assisted with the repairs by completing the final details such as: Sheetrock finishing, painting, baseboard installation, and commercial carpet square replacement. He was courteous, on-time, and able to work with our requirement that the project be completed over 1 weekend.
Josh did a great job custom building and installing several slide-out drawers in my existing pantry cabinets. A slight miscalculation in sizing of one cabinet necessitated him coming back out promptly a second time to complete the job. He was professional, courteous, fair in pricing, and readily in touch whenever I called or texted him. I would recommend him, and would use him again.
Our house was flooded by Hurricane Matthew and we hired Don plaster, paint, install floors, and fix cabinet trim and bead board. Don was ALWAYS on time, communicated effectively, did what he said he would do, and the final product is a home that shows feels like nothing ever happened. We would certainly recommend him as we will continue to use his services for future jobs!
We purchased a new home and needed a full interior paint, as well as some shiplap/moulding installed. First of all, Rick is super easy going and a joy to work with. Always professional, always on time, and very flexible with our changes and additions we made to the project along the way, Rick accommodated our every request. He explained the how's and why's of each step of the project, and helped us make some decisions on some tricky spots. Even though we threw him some curveballs, he never once complained or griped about anything...he is so easy to work with...we cannot say the same for many contractors we have worked with in the past! The quality of work he produces is also top notch. We will hire Rick again in the future, and definitely recommend him to others!!!
Patrick built a custom cabinet for our bathroom that is a great match for the other cabinets in our home -- down to the door panels and stain color. He was a joy to work with and did a beautiful job of cabinet making. He listened well to what we wanted, made great suggestions of his own, and the final product could not be nicer. Thank goodness! Our bathroom is small and I needed the extra storage space -- now I have ample space that's beautiful as well. I would not hesitate to work with him again.
Had cabinet doors made. Gene came and measured for us to double check my measurements. The doors look awesome, and I am Gene was great to deal with. He even gave me primer and paint to match the rest of my cabinets to. Awesome experience!
I had a “honey do” list and he did a great job completing the list and did more than what I asked for too! He also helped me install the baby proof clips on all my kitchen cabinets. I already recommended him to everyone I know. Thank you so much for your help!
They said they'd do the vinyl installation. Came here once to measure. After, we got promises they'd be in afternoon, didnt happen. Next, they said 1st thing in the am. To now, not answering cell, not returning messages. We've been waiting since Tuesday. What is going on with them. I cant get ahold of them. Thanks.. Mr. Parks has done contracting work on both my personal residence and rental property for over thirty years. His skill set includes finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, sheet rock, bath and kitchen renovation, tile, flooring, roofing repairs, siding installation and many others. His can do attitude always gets the job done correctly, on time, and on budget at a reasonable price. I recommend him highly.
Everything went great,Drew called me when he was pulling into my driveway. The job was a large AC replacement with a new unit that was more efficient and had more features as well. While I am sure Drew has done this type of job many times, the man ACTUALLY took the time to read the installation manual which is a rarity in todays rush rush world.Bottom line is you wont regret giving your job to Drew.He happily took the agreed upon price without any arguing or stories to get more money from you. James Gordon PS He a dog lover and I got to meet his beautiful Pit named Cole.Couldnt ask for a more mellow dog.He rescued this dog which makes him
Extremely punctual and professional. He has been doing my yard work for quite some time now and I’ve never had a complaint. My wife and I mentioned installing a new mailbox and he even did that for us too. I would definitely recommend him for any work that needs to be done!
We needed additional book shelf/cabinet space desperately and wanted the finished work accomplished in a very specific way, using the otherwise "empty" space on either side of a living room fireplace. Successfully translating any such requirement into a practical, affordable and pleasing solution is the mark of a true craftsman. Such was our experience with Tony Casanave. From his original design through the many small adjustments, selection of the finest materials, and ultimate accomplishment of the casework, Toney Casanave was approachable, available and accommodating.. He made very clear what was doable and what was not. Everyone has been extremely pleased with the results. We certainly anticipate using his excellent services again for future casework needs.
Jason and company are almost halfway through renovating my 4 bedroom, 3 bath condo that experienced massive flood damage. Work completed or nearly completed include ceiling drywall replacement, scraping, texturing, and painting. J&N has also replaced a section of damaged subfloor near a shower, installed kitchen drywall, and replaced the shutoff valves under the sink. Reasons I would recommend this company include: 1. Integrity - Jason shows up when he says he will and does what he says he is going to. If something goes wrong, he makes it right. 2. Proactive communication - he sends updates on progress, is very knowledgeable, accessible, and is a straight shooter. 3. Reasonable prices - Comparing to other estimates received, J&N's prices are fair. So far I am pleased at the quality and timeliness of the work.
Robbie was honest and helpful. Installing our outlet box and lighting while giving good advice on the drywall work that needed to be done surrounding the fixture.
Jessica was the first to respond on Thumbtack, a service I've never used before. I went to see her and she made the process very easy. The installers were phenomenal and really worked hard to fit us into their extremely busy schedule. Everyone was extremely knowledgable and professional. I felt like they wanted to work hard for our business and did. I rated a 4 star because I had a phone incident with another staff member that upset me, but that was my only dealing with her and she wasn't a part of my transaction. I would have rated 4.5 stars but it wouldn't let me. 😃. I recommend K & B Expo and Jessica. Thank you.
I hired Virginia Kitchens (The IKEA Installer for Hampton Roads) to install my IKEA kitchen and what a great choice. From design to finish they were in constant communication. I am so glad I decided to give them the job when my order had arrived and it was 146 boxes. But on the first day they sorted through the boxes and had everything organized and within an hour had cabinets already built. I am so happy the way the kitchen turned out and thank Virginia Kitchens for all the hard work.
They said what they were going to do, and did what they said for the price we agrwe'd on. Beautiful work, very detail oriented. I would recommend them to anyone.
I combined my master bedroom with a smaller bedroom to make a master suite. Chris Ward, owner of 1st Class Interiors Corp., performed the work which included expanding an existing closet in the smaller bedroom into a walk-in closet and expanding the opening between the two rooms so that it became one large suite with a sitting area and a new walk-in closet. They also did all of the drywall and finishing work in the project. A header had to be installed above the expanded opening because it was a weight-bearing wall. The end result is exactly what I had envisioned and the quality of the work was excellent and completed in the length of time that was projected.
Bryan was super helpful. He got exactly what I wanted at a good price. After he saw the pictures I sent and got the dimensions he let me know he could get it done in a couple of hours. He told me since I was just painting he could just make my cabinet doors out of MDF which worked out great. If you need a custom cabinet guy Bryan is you guy he takes the time to find out what you want and communicates very well with you on the different options you have. Look forward to doing business with you again Bryan.
