"It's ED!" Outstanding, he was an excellent officiant! Serious yet "light", he ran the show and it ran the full spectrum of emotions... serious with some well timed humor sprinkled in. Leading up to our wedding he was readily available, we spoke as often as Jess and I wanted. I think he is tip top, I wouldn't have wanted anyone else's services after our wedding yesterday. I believe he is genuine, I think he lives what he speaks, I think you'll be extremely glad you hired him if you need an officiant. He goes the extra mile, he listens to what you want, he delivers... what else could you ask for... he'll tailor "your day" to your wishes... 5 stars, number 1, all that rating "stuff"... he's legit!
Thanks Ed, you were tremendous, many complimented your service to us out of the blue during our conversations.
Call him, talk to him, you'll hire him.

Pastor Ed Lilley went above and beyond to make our wedding day a special and unique experience. This was my first experience using thumbtack and Pastor Ed took the time to reassure my wife and make her feel comfortable that our day would be special and that he was reliable and also eager to officiate our ceremony. His out going and friendly personality won us over and ultimately our guest as well. Pastor Ed did what ever was necessary to help us out even going as far as helping to set up. He interacted with the guest and our families breaking the ice and making everyone feel at ease with his personality and humor. The ceremony was beautiful! He spoke from the heart keeping the mood intimate but also injecting the right amount of humor. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. Pastor Ed catered the ceremony just for us adjusting things on the go and keeping the flow of everything smooth and intimate. We were thoroughly impressed by Pastor Ed Lilley and would recommend him to anyone that wants a unique and personal wedding experience with someone who takes the time to show it was not just a job for him. From the inspirational words he said to me and my wife before the ceremony to dancing and interacting with the guest Ed Lilley was mire than just an officiate he was more like family. I truly appreciate him making our wedding such a beautiful occasion!!

A God send! Ed gave LIFE to my soul! He is easily and readably accessible. He made our Valentine's Day nuptials happen on very short notice. We had what he referred to as a "formal informal ceremony". I was ready to settle for a ceremony in my living room but it wasn't what my heart desired. Ed helped make my dream come true for our beautiful blended family. Very personable and down to earth.

We hired Ed almost one year ago for our wedding. We live in FL and the wedding was in VA. That made planning a little more difficult than normal and since we didn't have a church we found a pastor online. At first, I was hesitant. I mean- we'd be married by someone we had never met in person. This turned out to be of little concern as we got to know Ed.
He invested countless hours over the last year on us- getting to know us, skyping, phone calls, making sure everything was running smoothly. Day of the wedding he came and saw me first and he made everyone feel comfortable. The ceremony was absolutely perfect. He took everything he learned about us and worked his magic. Everyone kept saying how lovely the ceremony was and they thought he was an old family friend. He stuck around and met family and ate dinner. He was absolutely the perfect officiant for us. Not only was he there for us on our day but I know he will be there for us in the future if we ever needed him. He is prompt at answering you and never misses an appointment. Thanks Ed! You're awesome!!
