Steven did quality work hanging our two window shades. He also went above and beyond the installation by patching some imperfections next to the windows that had been there for years! Steven was very professional and a perfectionist in the details.

Steve Able recently completed several jobs in my house to a high standard of quality and at a reasonable cost. He demonstrated excellent carpentry skills in installing a cabinet and crown molding in my kitchen, and he repaired water damaged drywall on my ceiling and fixed a couple of damaged wall corners very cleanly. Steve expertly painted all of that work, and it looks as good as new—or would if I had the right paint. He also came up with a creative solution for avoiding future damage to those wall corners, and fixed several old doors knobs that were hard to turn or shut. One of the things I liked best about Steve is that I could give general instructions and he would execute the work independently, sending photos along the way to confirm that he had understood. He is easy to communicate with, responsive to calls and texts, and proved trustworthy. I hope to hire him for additional projects in the future.

We had an exceptional experience with Steve and Able Contracting. He was quick to contact me to set up a visit and sent the quote the next day. We needed to replace lots of rotten wood frames in our screened porch but Steve went above and beyond by rebuilding all of the window frames and screens as well as painting the frames, trim and floor. The end result was a major upgrade that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely hire Steve again in the future as an old house always needs work !! He is very professional, knowledgeable and also a very nice human.

Steven and his son were awesome!
Flexible on coordination for the work. Good character traits.
Takes pride in his finished product! Heard him a few times saying, "no that's not right, I need better" to me and his son.
Respectful of your property, did outstanding job build barriers every day he worked to minimize/eliminate impact to our bedroom. Cleaned up every day as well!
Knowledgeable in the trade, just talk to him and find out about his work experiences.
Cost was best estimate and price I received out of 3 other estimates.
Extra effort on details, finished product was awesome, texture on ceiling and color match!
Already have him on the hook for more work.
Have a few Summer or warm weather ideas too!
