I am (Very Honest) and dependable. My customers know they can trust me in their homes and I will treat their pets as my own. You won't see me walking down the street on a cell phone chatting with my friends. My soul attention will always be on making sure you're pet is getting a quality walk. I love working with animals of all kinds. I consider them little people with four legs. I like being outside in the fresh air.

We were so worried about finding just the right person to "walk" our senior Basset Hound, Rosie, when we moved to Leesburg. We hit the absolute jackpot when we found Barry and Happy Hounds. He is truly the best. Not only did she love seeing him, but we knew that he enjoyed seeing her, too, and that meant so much to us. He was so patient with her as she ambled along...stopping to smell everything...and we could always count on him to report any issues he noticed with her or her health. Heck, he even saved us from ourselves a time or two...like when we went to work and left the garage door open! Rosie went to the Rainbow Bridge recently and we have been so touched by the genuine care and compassion he has shown us. We are preparing to rescue another Basset and there is absolutely NO DOUBT that Barry will be the first phone call we make. Others have said it and it is true...Barry is more than our dog walker, he is family. Do yourselves and your pet kids a favor and give Happy Hounds a call!

I have been using Barry at Happy Hounds as my Dog Walking service for my 2 very friendly, very strong Pit Bulls for a while now. It was very important to me when finding a service that I find someone that could manage walking 2 strong dogs at the same time. Barry does just that. He is very dependable, flexible and caring. I can always count on Barry no matter what the weather is. It means the world to me to know that my boys are in good hands while I am at work. I know how much they look forward to him coming every day. When I leave to go to work, I tell them I love them and that Barry is coming to take them for a walk. I actually see them smile. Nothing complicated it is all on my Web Site .. I can work with people on a plan to accommodate just about anyone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing this for a long time and I have learned a lot along the way. I feel hands on experience with animals is all the education I need. Even though I do not offer dog training. I feel they understand and like me and I handle animals very professionally.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked for the National Wildlife Federation for 15 years. One day I decided to work for myself at something I love animals and I have never looked back.
