I began my guitar lessons the first day of July. Chris is an outstanding teacher who gets you involved in the lesson, gives you patient instruction and timely feedback on your progress. I have taken many other lessons from other teachers and did not get the same results in weeks that I got with Chris on the first day.

Curt has been teaching my daughter since April 2012. First off, he is a great instructor, always patient and he had her playing right off the bat. She has progressively gotten better which has motivated her to practice even more, turning her into a pretty good young guitar player. From a parent's perspective, he is extremely helpful with advice and has been very easy to work with on scheduling. I would, and actually have recommended him to other parents. If you're considering guitar lessons, I would say definitely use Curt because he's a great instructor and the fact that he is also a veteran who served his/our country faithfully for many years. My daughter takes guitar lessons once a week from Rachel. Rachel offers a great atmosphere for enjoying music and learning to play the guitar. She makes it fun and uses alot of songs that are current. My daughter practices at home all the time and she talks about how much she loves taking lessons from Rachel! What more can a mom ask for? I highly recommend.

I was nervous about trying something I had never done before but Adam made me feel at ease from my first lesson. He's helped me so much and I can't believe how far I've come just after our 6 lessons. I really enjoy working with him and would recommend him highly to anyone looking to learn or get better at guitar. Thanks Adam!

Bob did a wonderful job at my daughters wedding and it was beautiful.

I am a father of three who loves to share the most amazing gift in the entire world with anyone who's wanting to learn how to use it: the gift of making music. I offer guitar lessons for beginners at a very fair price! I also am a songwriter and can write custom songs for you. Impress your girlfriend; pay respect to a lost loved one; get some things off your mind and into a memory that you can share with the world forever!

My method is fairly orthodox -- I teach what is needed for a student to actually be able to play songs in just a few weeks. While we will learn the basic chord shapes and scales, I will also teach alternative tuning, many of which have much simpler chord shaping, enabling some popular songs to be learned even by the beginner.

I am available to teach bass lessons (electric or upright) at any level, beginner to advanced. I am a 5th year Music major at CNU, and will soon be attending graduate school for a master's of Music in Jazz. Please contact me, and we can schedule a time to meet and assess your abilities to see how I can best help you if you choose to do the lessons.

I've been playing guitar for over 7 years now including live performances and weddings. I am extremely versed in various styles of music including both acoustic and electric rock, blues, country, jazz, and finger picking styles and would be a great asset to any beginner or novice students. I also have a degree in education from Old Dominion University and work wonderfully with both younger and older students.

I am a local and professional bass player, with 40 years of experience. I can help beginners how to start playing bass the right way. If you already play bass, take your playing to the next level. I service intermediate to advanced players. I can teach them to read music, improvise, and understand chord changes. The sky is the limit.

I am a Juilliard trained musician with years of teaching experience. I love working with kids or adults to help them reach their musical goals, in any style.

I really care about your overall experience as a player. Theory, basic guitar care, strings changes, amps/effects application, how to play in both a live studio and/or a recording situation, and having fun are all included. I really meet you where you are and try to understand the skills you want to develop. I'm not here to force a book's way of teaching you. I like to learn how you learn best with music and go from there. I like the enjoyment the students get from learning something and from having fun while doing so! People have fun in different ways, whether they love understanding the depth of how music works or if they just want to dive into a simple jam. I can accommodate either and all personalities.
