Previously operating under the name "Scent of Innocence" I hired Ms. Boyd for my trim repair project. He customer service over the phone was warm and reassuring. On day one, we scheduled a 10:30am appt for the following day. Day 2: No one came. At 11am, I contacted her to inquire whether she was still coming. She said yes. No one arrived until closer to 1pm. Initially, Ms. Boyd sent out Mr. Jarri to look at the work needed and provide an estimate. He said he would need to price materials and would let me know if he could do the job on the same day or if he'd need to come the next day, with it being more likely that he'd need to come the following day. About 2 hours after Jarri came to do the estimate, he sent me a text message to let me know that he was on his way. However, I got a phone call about a half an hour later from Ms Boyd telling me that her boyfriend was at the door. Assuming that it was Jarri, I opened the door and a gentleman by the name of Kevin strolled in and walked straight to my back door. I asked him if I could help him or if he was who Ms Boyd sent, he said yes and I redirected him to the garage which is where I needed to work done. Kevin took a look at the door and reiterated Jarri's sentiments. He would need to go price materials and he could come back and get it done the same day. About 2 hours later, Kevin came back looking for his missing debit card which I had literally just found on the floor while cleaning up and preparing to leave. I gave it to him and he let me know that he wouldn't be able to do the job that day since he was unable to pay for the materials, however he would be back first thing in the morning. I let him know that I would leave the garage entrance unlocked so that he could get into the property and make the repairs. Day 3: I went back to the property at 3:00 p.m. with the expectation that the trim work would have been done since Kevin promised he'd be there early in the morning and it wouldn't take more than 2hrs. Imagine my dismay to discover that the work was not done. I was not given any updates nor were there any phone calls to let me know that the job would need to be moved back. I contacted Ms. Boyd who was shocked that Kevin never returned to do the job. She apologized profusely and let me know that she would get she would personally come out to do the job that afternoon she just needed me to give her 2 hours to wrap some things up and head over. She informed me that since Kevin did not do the work as scheduled, I would only be charged material costs. 3 hours later, I followed up with her because she had not arrived and she informed me that she would be sending Jarri. Jarri contacted me shortly after and we met at Ace hardware. Again, he was professional and personable. I paid for the materials and he promptly went back to the property to get the work done. Please bear in mind that this review is not solely a review of the quality of work because Jarri did a phenomenal job repairing my trim. Despite the initial hiccups, I took another chance with Ms. Boyd and asked to have her come and fix my sink stoppers, remove a light fixture that had stripped screws and to pressure wash the property (since she said those were other services that they offer). The jobs were to be completed the next day. Day 4: Imagine my shock again and dismay again that the work was not done. When I contacted her for follow up (again another 8 hours after the job was supposed to be done because the property is in Norfolk and I live in Suffolk) she said that she did not have a ladder tall enough to access the second story of the property to pressure wash the house, however she did adjust one of the sink stoppers. She informed me that she would be back the next day to take care of the pressure washing. At this point Ms Boyd proved that not only was she unreliable, she was unrealistic in the timelines that she provided. Day 5: The day that she was supposed to come back to pressure wash the house (she claimed it'd be done first thing in the morning) I had to secure someone else to do it at 2:30 p.m. because she never got back to me. As a matter of fact, she contacted me at 3:15 p.m. from a la Quinta inn to inform me that she would be coming out the next day. I let her know her services were no longer required. So, if you need someone that will string you along on a time sensitive project, you're more than welcome to use this company. Again my issue was never with the quality of work because Jarri was exceptional personable and very communicative. Management, as sweet as she was, was inconsistent and I'm not sure if Kevin should be considered a reliable employee or not but I suppose that's what happens when you hire your boyfriend. Also, it's a bit suspicious that the company name changed so quickly after.

Made appointment for a quote on a deck replacement and a shed installation. The first time was never call or text when they could not show up. Gave them a second chance, made a appointment for noon on a Saturday. It was confirmed and a Gaia in no phone call or text telling me they would not be there. I texted the contractor and 3 hours later no response, I called and the manager hone is busy. From this I would not recommend this contractor to anyone because they are not reliable. Their action make me feel they don't care......
