The services I have received at Fitness First Training Services, since November 11, 2016 has added value to my life. First, the training schedules and cost are a perfect fit for an educator. Next, the training is professional, honest, tailored to meet my goals, mentally/physically challenging, and adjusted for my growth. Then, the nutrition consultations are supportive and practical. As a result, my biometric numbers improved tremendously, healthy habits were established in my life, energy is constant, and the desire to revise other areas of my life ensued. In closing, it's July 2019, to maintain my 75 pound weight loss, size 22 to 10 frame, and increase my strength/endurance, I still workout consistently at Fitness First, eat to live, and focus on self-improvement daily. Thank you Mr. Derron Flood, you have truly been instrumental in transforming my life.

Starting anything new can be scary but most definitely it will be challenging. When I first started out with Fitness First I questioned if I could keep it up with the changes and be consistent at working out. I soon discovered that this is not a gym where you go in, work out, and then go home. It is a place where you not only workout but also laugh and genuinely have a good time. Why go to a place where you feel the trainer is just there to take your money? This trainer is more than just a trainer. He is a teacher as he will break down the benefits of working out and what foods to eat to keep that furnace going for maximum benefits. He is passionate about health and fitness. He will put you on the path towards a better, more fit, healthier you. He will not allow you to give up. Trust me, he’s one of the best trainers hands down. His past and current clientele will attest to this.

At Fitness First, I have gained a true understanding of what fitness is and what the embodiment of fitness should be. The owner, Derron Flood, lives by the principles that he teaches us with every personal training and HIIT session. There is no shortcut to fitness. No magic pill, no magic diet... just eating right, staying physically active, and being consistent in BOTH. Flood creates regimens that will help you become your best self physically. Derron is tough but caring. He is hard on you because he sees what you sometimes cannot. He pushes you because he knows that you have the inner-strength to persevere through each and every workout. I enjoy the workouts with Flood and it is never a dull moment in the gym between great music and in-depth discussions about various topics from current events to nerd culture. No matter what, Derron keeps fitness first and it shows in everything that we do in his gym. Between his personal fitness sessions and the HIIT sessions offered throughout the week, Derron has provided options that can meet your fitness needs. I encourage anyone who wants to take that step in becoming a better you to work with Flood as you will not regret it!
