Introduction: Bloomfield Security & CPR is a Licensed Provider for the American Red Cross. The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. We provide the following training: Adult- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Non- Healthcare Professionals. Pediatrics- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification. The course provides participants with the foundational knowledge in cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The course explains the emergency medical services (EMS) system and helps participants confront their fears of getting involved and giving care. Participants will participate in all course activities and demonstrate all require skills. Equipment use during the course, such as CPR breathing barriers, gloves, first aid supplies, manikins and training material will be provided by the instructor.
