- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As far as continuing education goes, I'm Red Cross certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. I also strive to keep an open dialogue with local veterinarians, trainers, rescue organizations, and shops to stay up to date on the latest trends and news.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Having grown up with family pets my whole life the adjustment of moving away to attend college was difficult to make. There was a void that needed to be filled so I decided if I couldn't have a pet of my own that I would "borrow" other people's pets and shower them with tons of love and affection. This decision ignited my career into the pet care field and I haven't looked back since.
