FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet them at their convenience and listen to what they want to accomplish. Most of the time things are pretty straightforward, but I'll offer suggestions and give them options as needed. My goal is to understand what they want and then give it to them.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I didn't actually decide. It's one of the things that having a degree in English is good for though.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Well, about the profession I'd say this: Owning a paint brush doesn't make you a painter. While everyone has to start somewhere, a person who has occasionally done some painting can do some real damage to a house and might not be the best choice to be in charge of a job.
