About
Pick Up Movers does local moving, long distance moving and more. When contacting us please include your from zip code as well as your destination zip code so that we can give you the most accurate quote.
As the owner - I go on a lot of the myself. I also give free personal onsite estimates as needed. We are experienced movers who have worked together a long time, which is crucial when it comes to moving the very heavy pieces going into tight spots.
The satisfaction of a client taking time out of their day to provide their feedback of their service experience, and to commemorate the hard work of their crew is what feels us with pride and joy.

Now that we are finally settled in I can rave about this amazing moving company! These guys were able to make the move such a breeze! I have moved a total of 7 times and this move was the least of my worries thanks to Frank. All of my belongings arrived safely and in one piece. I will definitely be using them on my next move considering their affordable rate and great customer service.

This review is long overdue. My family and I have been nomadic, moving four times in the past four or so years. Each time we used a different moving company. Pick Up Movers did our last move in October 2022, and I will never call any other company again! Frank was incredibly responsive, professional, and kind. In our initial chat, he was able to honestly assess the number of movers and amount of time it would take to relocate, and his estimate was spot on! The moving crew was also amazing. They were right on time, worked really hard, didn't dilly dally, and didn't damage anything throughout the entire process. I'd definitely recommend them, and would 100% use them again.

Excellent experience overall! This company is very professional and a pleasure to work with! The scheduling process went smoothly. Frank was very patient in answering my questions and he documented all of the details of my move accurately. I received a contract with a reliable estimate.
The movers were awesome! They arrived on time and worked very efficiently. I was pleased with the steps taken to protect my hardwood floor and items that were being moved. The movers made two stops and completed the job for a fair price. I highly recommend their services.

Moved our stuff from Raleigh, NC to New York City. They were the first to reply with a quote, and still had the best estimate for our needs. Pierre was very friendly and helpful with getting us set up, and the whole process was what we expected. The pick-up was a day early than estimated, although they arrived hours later than what they told us (which is okay because they were still early technically), and the drop-off was exactly on time. Movinglong-distance is incredibly stressful and I'm happy that Pick Up Movers made it as seamless as possible (on top of it, without tacking on extra charges for whatever!).
Thank you!

I would like to express about my recent move with Pick Up Movers. They have recently moved me and it has been a wonderful experience. They are very professional and know how to treat their customers with great respect. They were really committed to their word and services. The crew showed up on time and finished the job as estimated and expected. Pierre, the sales representative was wonderful. He goes above and beyond in order to accommodate and help his customers. The movers were very nice and efficient and know how to use their time wisely. I will definitely use them for my future moves and highly recommend them to anybody looking for quality moving services.

FAQs
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We strive to be the best movers you ever hire-and if you use us once we do our best to have you use us forever. We have many repeat customers.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I really wished customers knew that moving is not a brute profession, but it involves thinking, and planning. Loading a truck is like playing a tetris game. many novice movers don't understand the importance of packing that truck tight, and right. This ensures that everything fits. Also, that movers may not ask, but we enjoy tips and food. It makes the job go smooth. LOL!
