Tony and his crew helped us reconfigure our kitchen cabinets to accept a new range. He was exceptional in all aspects of the retrofit of the cabinets. Professional, personable, timely and quality in workmanship are the words that come to mind with our experience with Tony. We will definitely call Tony when we are ready to proceed with the balance of the kitchen! Thank you Tony!!

A lovely shelf was built for the kichen, we later had to move it downstairs because it did not match the kitchen cabinets after we added base cabinets in the eating area under the shelf .cabinets are of the same manufacturer & color as in the cooking area. Also new & additional stair railings (both sides of stairs) makes for ease going up or down! Love these!

This is the epitome of a good small/local company. Curtis Home Improvements played a difficult role in our multi-faceted home renovation. We hired them to convert a large window to a set of french doors, build a large custom deck, abandon several electric base plate heaters, have granite counter tops installed in our kitchen, install a tile back splash in our kitchen, custom cut our cabinets and installed a wall mounted microwave, installed a dishwasher, and a sink disposal. They did all this while seamlessly allowing other contractors to come in install a new heat pump, pull up carpets and put hardwoods in one room, refinish hardwoods everywhere else, and my family to remove wall paper and paint throughout the house while I built a fence. In the process, we added on a few change orders: removing, repairing and placing new tile for a bathroom floor where we found some wet rot, skim coating areas on the drywall that were messed up from previous renovations or from removing wall paper. They performed this additional work without missing a beat, and at a fair cost. Everything looks great.

I am a vendor/contract manager by trade, so I am often difficult to please. But Ron and his crew truly did an outstanding job from start to finish! Starting with my first meeting, Ron made me feel comfortable without any pushy sales. He made suggestions of things to consider (which at the time, was allowing him to provide an estimate for cabinet removal and installation - I had only asked about granite removal and reset at this point), but was otherwise there to simply answer all of my questions and take measurements for an accurate proposal. After I was presented with a very good price, I received 3 additional quotes which validated my understanding. I followed up numerous times with them to confirm the timing of events, they showed up exactly when they said they would, did MORE than they said they were going to, and finished EXACTLY when they said they would. I found this to be completely impressive since I ended up with a new kitchen in 3 DAYS!!! The only real criticism I can provide is very selfish on my part... with me being a vendor/contract manager, my standards on proposals are exceptionally high, so please don't read into this much. I received a somewhat detailed proposal, but I wanted more information for the sake of liability, which was ultimately provided. Also, I was aggressive in continuing to follow up, so I'm not positive if their office would have been as responsive to proactively confirm timelines, etc. Honestly, if you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and call these guys. It's well worth your time... and it quickly becomes clear why they are the top rated on Angie's List in the area.

We were looking for a custom display cabinet to put in our children's store to display merchandise. Boris built an amazing cabinet, it exceeded all of our expectations. Anyone is welcome to come see it for yourself, it is located at The Purple Goose, 2005 Mt Vernon Ave, Alexandria, VA 22301, you can find pictures of it also on our Facebook page, facebook.com/thepurplegoose , it is a beautiful piece! Quality Handyman Services (QHS) did an excellent job remodeling my kitchen and adding a half bathroom downstairs. My house was built in 1918 so there were a few surprises along the way but Jeremiah didn’t skip a beat. He was able to do all of the work himself with the exception of the electrical wiring update necessary. Jeremiah updated plumbing and ran new for the new location of the dishwasher and the new bathroom. He also installed all of the new plumbing fixtures in both the bathroom and kitchen including the garbage disposal. Jeremiah did all of the demo and removed all of the debris. He did everything from replacing rotten floor joists to taking out a support wall and building a new support beam to open the kitchen up to the dining room. He put in hardwood floors, framed an alcove for the refrigerator and a utility closet/pantry. I formerly had to keep my pantry items in the closet that housed the washer/dryer. He moved the w/d upstairs and when I saw how big the closet actually was, I asked if he could turn it into a bathroom. He did it! No more climbing the stairs 4-5 times a day to use the bathroom!!! I also had him install new cabinets and all new appliances including an over-the-range microwave that required the exterior wall to be opened to vent to the outside. He moved and removed two cast iron radiators, installed a new sliding glass door to my patio, exposed the original brick to make a backsplash, built a support wall for a bar looking into the new kitchen from the dining room. I had new lights, switches and outlets installed too. It was a huge undertaking and Jeremiah made it as painless as possible. I am having QHS replace my porch light, repair my gate and build a cover over my back porch this summer! I highly recommend QHS. You can’t beat their prices! Sincerely, Amy Owens (804) 938-1277
