- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to talk with the bride and/or groom, over the phone, to get an idea of what type of ceremony they envision so I can create a draft ceremony to discuss at the meet & greet.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We attended a friends wedding, when the officiant arrived, the bride and groom had no idea who this person was, and then when the officiant performed the ceremony, it was a "cookie cutter" ceremony. We decided at that time we wanted to become ordained and begin officiating weddings. We do not feel a couple should have a stranger officiate over one of the most important decisions of their adult life, and the ceremony should be unique to what they want.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All ages and all beliefs. We are not committed to only traditional or Christian weddings.
