Hi and congratulations to you and your fiance. I am happy for you both. By way of an introduction, I am a resigned catholic priest and now a member of the Unitarian Universalist church in Richmond. I am married to my dear partner, Susan, and we have 1 very sweet but mischievous dog, Daisy, and 2 cuddly bunnies, Bonnie and Clyde! I have an easy going personality and enjoy people, animals and a variety of hobbies including making glass jewelry products.
I have had the joy of celebrating weddings for many years. Serving as a wedding officiant is truly an honor and privilege for me. I am very grateful and delighted now to have the opportunity to share in the love relationship of same-sex couples in this role.
Though marriage has a spiritual meaning for me, I do not impose any distinctive wording nor format upon you. I respect you and your wishes for the celebration. After all, it is YOUR wedding and an expression of YOUR love relationship. I will work with you by phone or email to create a meaningful ceremony of your choice.
Because of this pandemic and the fact that I am at a higher risk of infection due to my age, I am only performing weddings with the couple and no other guests on the porch/deck of my home in south Richmond. If this arrangement is acceptable to you, I would be honored to serve as your officiant. I hope to hear from you.

We received nothing but compliments on our ceremony yesterday and we have Wayne to thank for it! We met with him once to go over our thoughts and he helped turn our ideas of a simple, intimate ceremony into reality. He took the time to listen to us and when he gave his reflections, you would have thought we were old friends, not someone we met just a few weeks ago! We highly recommend him to anyone needing a wedding officiant.

Wayne officiated our wedding flawlessly. Everything was perfect; he was professional, sweet, sentimental, and everything that came out of his mouth perfectly captured our relationship. I've gotten numerous comments on how great our ceremony was, and I could not be happier with how it all went. He was prompt and efficient during the rehearsal, and I felt very comfortable going into the ceremony on the day of the wedding. I couldn't be happier with everything, and highly recommend Wayne as an officiant!

Wayne served as our wedding officiant on Nov 1 2015.
Wayne went above and beyond our expectations! He was so accommodating with our schedules and was sure to find out as much about us as a couple in such a short period of time, you can tell he takes each job very seriously.
We both felt our ceremony was catered to us but still traditional.
I recommend Wayne to anyone, as I know he is a man of many talents.
I have not one bad thing to say about Wayne. Not one. And neither will you.

We had a wedding ceremony last Saturday and we chose Wayne to marry us. We got the best officiant to do our wedding. Very enjoyable, he made us feel very comfortable. He did a wonderful job no complaints. We recommend him if you are getting married.
