About
Star City Painters is a local, family owned residential and commercial painting company based in Cave Spring, serving Roanoke, SML, and New River Valley. Our standard is simple: done right the first time. That means real prep before any paint goes on — cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming — because prep is what separates a finish that lasts from one that fails in two years. We use professional-grade Sherwin-Williams coatings, protect your floors, furniture, and landscaping, and leave every space clean at the end of each day. You'll get a clear written proposal with exactly what's included, honest timelines, and direct communication with the owner from estimate to final walkthrough. No surprises, no shortcuts.

Even though we ultimately didnt move forward with Start City Painters, we had a great experience with the quoting process. They were professional, responsive, thorough, and easy to work with. I was very impressed with their level of service and would definitely recommend giving them a call! We ended up not doing the job because we are holding off on the job itself, but if and when we do move forward, we will be going with them.

Working with the team at Star City Painters was an easy and professional process. They really cared about the prep and clean up process which my wife and I really appreciated. Dawson was very trustworthy and didn't cut any corners throughout the job, and was super helpful during the planning and helped decide which paint and scheme worked for us.
