PLEASE READ UPDATE AT END. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY!! There is a reason there are no reviews from 2018.I hate to have to do this but Ive become completely frustrated. It started in November when i contacted them to make a kitchen island. I was told about 2-3 weeks. With $500 down. Great! Fast forward to the end of December I kept getting told other project came up and they were delayed. Thats fine, I get it, things come up. I was assured they were working on it and it would be worth the wait. Come mid February I got a little more insistent about an actual delivery day and I was told mid February for sure. Well day of delivery they ask me to come take a look before putting it on the truck. It. Was. Terrible. Back ripped off, uneven, paint drips everywhere. Even they said they knew it was bad. They had subcontracted it out to someone else they admitted they had had trouble with in the past. I was a little annoyed at this point, they had obviously been lying to me telling me they were working on it and panicked and contracted it out at the last minute. I was told if I gave them another chance they would make it right. Maybe Im a dummy for not ignoring all the red flags at this point but Im a sucker and believe in second chances. I was told they were in the process of moving shops but they would come out when they were done to measure my kitchen to make sure it was done right. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I contacted them to schedule an appt after not hearing from them. The guy came and said we would have it i a week and half. That was last Monday.... needless to say we havent heard anything. I sent a message Monday to ask if they still have enough paint from the first one or if I needed to order more (I asked for a specific paint and stain). No reply and the phone just keeps ringing. Im so frustrated at this point. Ive been nothing but understanding and I would think they would be proactive about trying to fix this. Its also frustrating to see them positing pictures about new projects and to call them when Ive been told they done have time for mine for the last 5 months. I dont know why I have had such a different experience from other reviews. Its been almost 6 months, $500 gone, and no island. I hate to hold a review over someones head but Im not sure what else to do to have them take me seriously at this point. Im hoping by writing this they might be encouraged to make good on our agreement.Update: after no response via phone or messenger we resorted to going to his workshop. He had not started and clearly had no intention of doing so. Just kept going on about people quitting and how all his subcontractors have not been reliable. Kept mumbling random excuses. He has clearly fallen on hard times, and had obviously been stringing us along for months. We asked for a refund of $500+40taxes+60materials. He asked for a week, we will be escalating this to a police matter if needed next week. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR MONEY!!
