My Story Over the past 14 years, I’ve honed my skills in various kitchens, starting in fine dining, where I learned the importance of precision and technique. My roots, however, have always been grounded in the soulful flavors of the dishes I grew up with. Raised on soul food, I developed a deep appreciation for rich, comforting flavors. Along the way, I also fell in love with the vibrant and bold tastes of Jamaican cuisine, which has had a profound influence on my cooking style. My passion for food is not just about cooking — it’s about creating experiences, telling stories, and celebrating culture through every dish. Chef Desi recently catered my son's wedding. She understood the assignment and provided a fantastic culinary experience for all! Not only did the food taste delightful, the presentation was beautiful! We all gave a round of applause at the wedding in appreciation of her delicious meal. Several guests asked for her contact information after tasting all she had prepared. From the point of first contact, Chef Desi was enthusiastic about our event, accommodating and very responsive. In her hands, I felt comfortable that the food would be excellent, and it was. I would recommend her to anyone in need of flavorful catering from a versatile culinary professional!

Chef Desi catered our Sunday afternoon birthday celebration. The food was delicious, all request were delivered as planned and it was a wonderful dining experience. I would request her service again. I would also highly recommend her catering service.

Chef Desi is te only Chef you need to book for any and all events. If I could give more stars, I would as her service, food, and professionalism was well above 5 stars. I highly recommend, you wil not be disappointed l

Chef Desi provided catering services during Christmas, and everything was absolutely wonderful. She prepared a great variety of delicious Southern foods for both dinner and brunch. The menu included crab fish, fried chicken, curry chicken, cabbage, and mac and cheese plus much more —all of which were flavorful and cooked perfectly. The food was well-seasoned, fresh, and enjoyed by everyone. On top of that, Chef Desi has a very nice and welcoming personality, which made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend her for catering, especially for holiday events
