- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've loved computers since I can remember. My father bought me my first computer when I was in 8th grade (1988). It was an old business computer used at an accounting firm, so my father got it pretty cheap. The only downside to it was, it only came with accounting software, like Accounts Receivable/Payable, Gen. Ledger, Payroll, etc. So I learned a great deal about computers and accounting at the same time, and went into Accounting/Data Processing classes at my school. Long story short, the love for computers has been with me quite a while.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Normally, I help individuals setup, configure, clean, backup & restore, and lock down their computers.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Most people do not realize that you actually can lock your computer down so you will NEVER be affected by viruses, blue screens of death, or people installing stuff without your knowledge or approval -- all without virus programs.
