FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally we charge $89 dollars for a diagnostic service call and $69 dollars for a maintenance. If additional work is needed, I use flat rate pricing which always works in the customers favor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, I like to speak with the customer in order to better understand what it is they have witnessed in regards to their Heating and air conditioning system. It also provides the customer and me a chance to interact and develop a report with one another. I will set the agenda for the service call at that time so my customer understands exactly why it is I may need access to different areas of the home. I usually will ask the customer to familiarize me with the locations of their Heating and Cooling equipment. Shortly thereafter, I begin the diagnostic or maintenance of the system. Once I've arrived at a conclusion, I will ask my customer if there is a location we can sit and go over the results of the maintenance or diagnostic results. At that time, options and pricing are presented and discussed. If a repair is needed, plans will also be made to return that day or the next to complete the service. After the unit is up and running, I usually complete my paperwork giving the system ample time to operate before I give it a final check and set the thermostat to the customers desired setting. After making sure the repair was a success, the work area is clean, lights that I turned on are turned off, and the customer is pleased with the service, I then collect payment and say goodbye.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have successfully completed 2 years of study in the HVAC trade. The schooling I received earned me a degree as well as my certification for the EPA. I'm taking a masters licensing exam in March of 2016 which I am extremely excited about.
