The tech was great! He fixed my problem and changed two door locks. My issue is with their system for telling you the price. The tech showed up and began working prior to me knowing how much it would cost. I had to ask him several times to stop taking the door handles off until I received a quote. He finally orally gave me a quote and finished working. After paying, I found out they charged me a $50 disposal fee to throw out two door handles. That is ridiculous. If I had received a quote in writing with a breakdown of their prices I would have thrown them out myself.

Sorry you misunderstood the label on the service. We actually didn't charge you to dispose your lock we actually only charged you to install the lock but its labeled lock removal/install meaning we removed the previous lock and installed the new one.

I wouldn’t recommend. They’re advertising $0 service call. When they got there they started working immediately by removing 2 screws from latch, they tried turning it several angles to get the door closed which wasn’t the problem. I received a call from someone from the company asking if they can start the service. I said sure, as long as you get the job done. He then advised me not f the cost to repair the door. He charged $125+Tax. When I wrote the service request I sent 4 pictures and also described my issue. They didn’t address my issue. After they were supposedly done. I asked why didn’t they removed the screen door to fix the issue. The gentleman said we had structural damage as of the frame wasn’t built properly. It would’ve been funny if it was a joke. We have a door that’s flushed and that was installed also. The problem is the screen/storm door wasn’t installed properly and was hoping someone from Thumbtack could fix the issue. All they did was turn the latch upside down and added 2 more screws. But didn’t fix the issue I requested through the app. After I voiced my opinion on the matter the representative from the company basically ignored me. I am very disappointed with service we received and I wouldn’t recommend it.
