- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly taking classes in order to keep my teaching certificate valid but working with students day in and day out is what keeps me most current.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for references. Talk to the references. Most of all, see what kind of connection they have with your child. Ask your child how they feel with their tutor. If the child isn't enjoying his or her time with the tutor AND learning, then the tutor isn't the right one for him.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Teaching isn't something that anyone can do. As much as we love our own children, they can usually learn better from someone else. They want to impress and strive to make me proud and they know they have to work hard to earn that.
