FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to begin with the end in mind. In order to help someone looking for a home to purchase, my first goal is to set them up for a success and that starts with a needs/wants assessment and being prequalified through a lender that can make sure they get the best terms and price for what they want. When I work with sellers, we sit down and come to agreement on what improvements should/could be made to make sure the home sells for the highest price and shortest time possible. I also spend my own money on things like professional photography to make sure the home is seen in the best light possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in real estate. Both my mother and father were in the business. Their passion easily converted to me. Before helping adults, I helped children see their dreams come true while teaching in Norfolk Public Schools. Teaching is something I really enjoy, and combining this with helping people meet their goals in life is certainly a treasure.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with private individuals (buyers, sellers, renters), as well as institutions (banks, government and government sponsored entities). I much prefer working with individuals and knowing that I am helping on a more personal level.
